Contemporary single-family house that blends in with the rural surroundings of Alicante.
The Oos House is one of our projects where the natural surroundings clearly influenced the materialisation of an idea. The rugged topography of the plot made it necessary to place the access on the road it faces in order to arrange the programme from top to bottom, contrary to what is usual.

A HOUSE WITH DAY AREA AND OUTDOOR TERRACES ON THE SAME LEVEL
The volume containing the night area is situated on an intermediate level, forming an upper platform for access and parking and configuring below it a large terracing and the main part of the programme, with the day area on the same level, including outdoor terraces and the swimming pool. The treatment of the gardens is resolved by means of dry stone terraces, typical of the rural environment of Alicante.
Mediterranean architecture and the natural landscape merge in this project, achieving a harmonious integration between the building and its surroundings.
The materials chosen are intended to emphasise the unique and contemporary concept of the house to the maximum. Exposed concrete or micro-cement and oak wood are combined inside, with white rendering and dry stone masonry of the terraces outside.
